Concept journey

01

Inside the project

A collection of encounters.

Wildside asks what a game could add to a walk outside. Its central idea is a personal collection of real wildlife encounters, built through photography and species discovery.

The collection is the lasting object. A friends-only social layer adds a reason to share without making a public feed the center of the experience.

02

Inside the project

Design the loop before the app.

The product specification connects live capture, an identification proposal, the personal collection, and place-based discovery. Screen patterns and a visual system give those ideas a consistent structure.

The work also considers uncertainty, privacy, responsible capture, and the practical limits of identification in the field.

03

Inside the project

A considered starting point.

The planning work brings the main screens, collection structure, and capture flow into a shared blueprint. The early scaffold gives that blueprint a starting structure for development.

The central product decision runs through the whole concept: use the phone to deepen attention to the world around it, then give each discovery a lasting place.
